Lisbon slumbers, cloaked in moonlight's embrace,
Each cobblestone whispers of a forgotten face.
I wander these streets, a solitary soul,
Haunted by a love that made my heart whole.
Saudade hangs heavy, a bittersweet ache,
For laughter shared, whispered promises we couldn't break.
Each cafe terrace, a memory's faint refrain,
Echoes of joy, now tinged with sorrow's rain.
Fado melodies drift from open doors,
Woven with longing, on moonlit shores.
Each note paints a portrait, bittersweet and stark,
Of love's fragile essence, left in the city's park.
Will morning light banish these melancholic hues?
Can my heart learn to sing, beneath skies anew?
Or will Lisbon forever echo with your name,
A constant reminder of a love lost, a smoldering flame?
