Satisfaction

A Poem About Pleasure

By Jenesis HunterPublished 7 years ago 1 min read
Innermost Thoughts

What can I really say? I have so many thoughts and emotions I feel every day.

I constantly, feel that I have a brilliant plan, unaware that the cards aren't in my hand.

When I do finally receive this news, I wind up getting the blues.

I hope for the pleasure of getting my just treats, for whatever even if it's bitter or sweet.

Satisfaction is what I crave the most, the pleasure of being heavily known.

What does this world have to offer? Should I wind up another victim or martyr?

I bet at first many would think of my poem as raunchy, until you read the words in which I am typing.

I speak with admiration and value; could this be Satisfaction?

I have integrity and self-dignity; would this be Satisfaction?

I have an independent heart and no none sense attitude; should this also be satisfaction?

These days I feel the pleasure to be free, not fearing and worrying for nothing.

Satisfaction in conclusion to me is... The Pleasure of just wishing for something.
