Sasquatch

The monster with big feet

By Mark Stigers Published 2 years ago • Updated 2 years ago • 1 min read

In the northwest woods deep,

you can hear my haunting call.

I make people’s skin creep,

fearing into my hands they’ll fall.

I throw big rocks to scare,

and I’ll up root a tree, too.

I have a savage mind in compare,

so these displays of strength I do.

If we come face to face,

only the foolish stop and stare.

As you into the night I chase.

Your life I will not spare.

I can tear you limb from limb.

I can run you down.

It will be really grim,

if you are never found.

If deep in the woods you are,

and you become aware of me.

You will not get very far,

and you may no longer be.
