Santa's Surprise

Christmas day

On Christmas Eve, with twinkling eyes,

We listen for Santa's sleigh up in the skies.

With cookies baked and milk in sight,

We wait for him to visit in the night.

The stockings hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that St. Nick soon will be there.

With dreams of toys and gifts so bright,

We snuggle in our beds, filled with delight.

Then suddenly, a jingle, a sleigh bell's chime,

Santa's arrival in the nick of time.

Down the chimney, with a bound so quick,

He brings joy and wonder, just like magic!

With rosy cheeks and a merry ho-ho-ho,

He fills the stockings in a festive glow.

Presents piled high beneath the tree,

Santa's surprise brings such glee!

Oh, what a joyous, magical sight,

On this enchanting Christmas night.

With hearts aglow and spirits light,

To all a good night!
