Safe haven

A home is a heart,

The staple of life,

For some it’s four walls,

For others it’s a loving wife,

For some people it’s companionship,

The homely love of a dog,

For others it’s just somewhere that they can sleep safely and doze like a log,

Home can be a country or the place where you were born,

A place to experience happiness or somewhere comfortable for us to morn,

A home is for memories,

Where you feel at your best,

A place to feel comfortable away from life’s test,

I see home as this planet,

Somewhere to protect,

My home has not boundaries,

It is built on respect,

Respect for all that live here,

All that share it’s love,

Some take it for granted,

Sad,

Because this special home was sent from above.
