Sad to leave,

Happy to move;

I hate to leave this house,

It has happy memories,

Sad memories,

And;

Joyful memories.

This house is where I brought up my children;

Many tears have been shed here,

Many smiles have been shared here, too.

Sad to leave,

Happy to move;

Happy for the future,

And, the good times ahead,

A chapter has closed,

A new life is just beginning.

Thank you, old house,

For the lessons of love that you taught us,

And,

For sharing the joy we created inside this old

house.

Sad to leave,

Happy to move;

As one door closes,

Another one opens,

And behind that door,

We finally find the life that we deserve.
