Silent Reminders That You're Human
When its ugly its ugly, you feel like a dirty soul
A pure sign you should make a few changes
Is that a sacrifice absolutely, you remaining positive shows your resilience
I commend you for it, remember the night you couldn't stop throwing up
How fragile you felt in that moment, it really made you feel and realize
That life is so short, that your heart could stop with all the straining
There is life left in you though, cherish that struggle because it will help you be thankful
When you were young your parents probably told you there's someone out there that's suffering way more
Grasping that is a bit hard because it isn't personal, unless they show you
The darkness does fall upon the land but the day isn't promised, that's what reminds me to stay humble and grateful
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, you're exactly that just remember not to hold on too tightly
