Sacred Youth

Ignorance is Bliss

Blood, sweat and tears

They had their fill through the years

Always to be topped with ball-breaking laughter, joy and original prank

And not quite keeping track of the spirits they drank

Trouble in droves and consequence without reservation

With adventure abound might come attached ill intention

But the exchanges persist and help to feed the soul

A kinship and foundation that never tires or grows ‘ol

Forever young, supportive and having ones back

If perfection is something they happen to lack

Then cheers to their flaws as they strengthen the bond

As the time spent in thy youth are times they are especially fond
