Sacred Lions

I am

We’re only living in these human frames

As spirit souls encased in flesh, bone, blood and muscles

Until we wear these suits of limitation out and give them up

To the saving grace of mother nature

We will stumble along swallowed up by our hubris and arrogance

Defining ourselves by self-assigned adjectives that do not exist

Forgetting that we are all simply

I am…

I am…

I am...

We are all sacred lions swimming against the current of the deep

Dark deadly rivers

There are no adjectives.

No expectations.

No ego

Only I am…

I surrender

I am.
