Running in the Sun

Gorgeous weather to be outside

I did not run on the beach today

But walking to work and back felt that way

The temperature was perfect

80 degrees

With a gentle breeze blowing

I longed to be outside

Walking until my feet were sore

Just to feel the sun on my skin

The balmy air stroking my hair

Tonight I am tired

Like a day at the beach, or pool

Sun kissed and content
