Run A’Ground

Solitary vigil over shattered soul

Run aground, sandbar of despair

Splintered crow’s nest overlook

Mortally wounded behemoth

Pierced hull, devastated life

Salt rimed shards of ice

Cannon shot rounds, verbal abuse

Gaping wounds

Chaotic waves of agony crashing in

Relation-Ship sunk in sea of travesty

No horizon in sight

Never sail warm waters again

sad poetry
