Ingrit made her way to an old dresser - that sat in the corner, next to a picture of small wooden door.
She checked over her shoulder to see she was alone and as quiet as a mouse she gently opened the drawer
Inside, was a box, completely covered in moss, on the top was a circled feather that was encased by a cross
She picked up the box and quickly tucked it away, into the pocket of her apron, and as she was getting ready to say.
“If you would simply go and leave my father alone. I’ll guarantee your protection and no wrath from the throne.”
But all that came out, was a tired, achy “ribbet.” But, except for the frog, her captors could not understand it.
As they tried shoved her into a truck to discuss her demise. The frog whispered, “croak” back, and to Ingrets surprise. He tricked the mouse and the raven and locked them up there, inside.
Then, he made a deal for his safety offering to deliver his accomplices.
Not knowing what was coming, Ingret pulled out the case and accidentally dropped it
When the frog saw the box, he froze, hard like a statue. Ingret smiled and laughed as she croaked, “At-last, I got you!”
But now, what of the others and what of her voice. This dilemma left Ingret with one hell of a choice
