From canopy to soil
We grow with the intention to never soil our soul
Til we’re sold screens that screen us from the world
Stripping away the bark we grew ourselves
To protect us from our world
A world full this, that, and decisions
Trying to pull back from incisions
Being chopped down for others revisions
Never seek the tree of life
Til your the strongest tree in your life
Only then will light grow your roots

Meaning:
Our conscious and subconscious absorb so much corruption throughout our lives. It sways our decisions, making them impure. Others will always critique those decisions. But if you stay true to yourself, your path will be clear.
