A word

Hanging on my lips

Echoes

A siren in my brain

Did I say it?

...

Again

Again

...

Three words - Three lies

Eternal Resting Place

As I flinch and hide

Flash turns to flesh

They rise.

...

Again

Again

...

Rotten limbs, scratching my walls

Parts holding down

Parts probing

Parts forcing themselves inside

I think I said it

...

Again

Again

...

They broke the walls

There is no hiding

Where one goes through

The horde will follow

Flooding my mind

...

Again

Again

...

I smell the blood, Deceit,

The smoke, Disdain,

Your wine,

then Pain.

I know I said it

...

Again

Again

...

Chewing my bones,

Until nothing's left

I whisper

"No"

Again and again
