Roses Are Red

A poem about the color red.

Roses are red,

Well, some are.

Not all roses are red.

They come in many different colors, pink, white, black (if they are wilting) and of course red.

The color of the rose is many,

But the red rose symbolizes love,

Or envy,

Or Jealous,

It all depends on who you are asking.

So not all roses are red.

Red is just the first thing we think of when we think of roses.

Why not hearts?

Or blood.

Blood is red

And so are hearts.

Most clipart hearts are the color red,

Or black if they symbolize heartbreak.

Moral of this story,

Not all roses are red

And there are many other things that can symbolize the embodiment of love that are red.

So think about that when you say the saying “Roses are red.”
