He is my very loyal companion,

Protector of the sentimental dwelling,

Keeper of promised dreams,

Always on the lookout for trouble afar,

Spoiled beyond compare,

Willing to stick out his neck at the passing cats,

I enjoy the fact of the unbound quality of his calm disposition,

The way his nerves are fine-tuned by a canine charisma,

Collecting the boulders of an age gone by,

A few cannot compare to his fuel-driven compassion,

Down with playing with multiple tennis balls,

He once buried a talking squirrel that would not listen,

When I request his attention, he responds with eager anticipation.
