they shut our mouths

without telling the truth

not to say a bad word

that could break through

their cunning souls –

hopeless;

they closed our ears

so as not to hear their whispers

about us

but what did they have to say ?

always relying on

contradictions and shame;

they covered our eyes

so that we wouldn’t see their deeds

under the cover of the black night

constant

an invented chain of puzzles

to bind all innocents within;

they have restricted our hands

for us to have limited ability

to show the world

that they are wrong

binding us all

in this castle made of counterfeit stones;

they put masks on our faces

to distort all our senses

so as not to feel the stink

of their upcoming abuse –

these heartless souls

buried deep in the ground

crying for help with no regret
