I see the world in my own eyes.

If someone steals from me, I feel I can steal back,

Provided of equal value.

I ponder the thought of eye for an eye,

Ghandi said if it were that way,

World would be blind and toothless.

Perhaps it would be an awful world,

But for someone who was always seen as lesser,

Shafted and treated unfairly,

I feel due to my struggles,

I would want everyone to be the same.

I don't believe in capital punishment,

Though I do say this,

If you end someone's life,

It is like you ended mankind if done in cold blood.

The evil deed can not be erased.

If there was a reason, however flawed,

You can still be redeemed.

I hope you understand this glimpse,

Of my autistic mind.
