Cries of the heart

PART ONE

It’s like we never met

Staring in the eyes of regret

Seeing you with your face on

We journeyed till we faced off

Literally in limbo

Bending over backwards

-how

How low can we go before we all fall down and become merely ashes meaningless dust?

Falling out over mistrust

Holding out

Discussions fueled by lust

Road trippin’ , road ragin'

Backtracking, we got lost on our way

Retracing our steps to find out where we left ourselves

Looking out for land-markers in the search for direction

Trying to blend into a void that goes only one direction

Hoping to fill it via the art of deception

Masterfully avoiding detection

Setting fire to apprehension left ablaze to sway this way to obstruct the views of the other

Otherwise known as another

PART TWO

We operate, we cruise in and out of crews

Then we cut to the chase racing to acquire singing in the name of our hearts desire

To raise up a chest that cages a heart that can’t even be reached via long distance or spare a minute for local calls or receive texts

“Locked up they won’t let me out” cries of the heart that is protected from freedom and hurts to be heard and longs to be seen… begging for airtime pleading to break out and be broken in, put to work to elude the default

For you are not alone, you are only lonely hearts chained behind barricades of property and offers claimed for a rate with taxes included and prices that are subject to change….

For we are not alone we are only lonely hearts chained behind barricades of property and offers claimed for a rate with taxes included and prices that are subject to change….

…. signals dropped

No longer in range

cries of the heart.
