Ripples
Ripples chase the shore,
Skipping stones across the lake,
Each leap breaks the still,
Circles widen, then dissolve,
Echoes of a fleeting joy.
Postscript:
This tanka captures the vivid and serene moment of skipping stones across a tranquil lake, with each stone’s leap symbolizing fleeting joys and the ripple effect they create.
