We will return to our regularly scheduled program in just a moment.

**

my fingers tingle with fierce anticipation

at the prospect of digging deep into the emotions I have kept polished

the ones I learned to shove down into the bowels of political correctness

where the devil dwells on lips sewn together, with golden threads of politeness

the ones my parents told me to soften and deliver with a smile

patiently turning my cheek and a blind eye

for the needs and feelings of everyone else

just to keep the peace

**

well, you know what?

**

FUCK THAT!!!

**

there, I said it...

**

finally, after years of swallowing my own bile to save face and feeling

and the endless hours spent constantly catering and tending to full grown, diaperless toddlers

in the attempts of resolving or avoiding the latest tantrum

gently masking true emotions for someone who could really give two shits

yes, thanks to Andrea, I am peeling off the scabs and airing my ugly for all to see

**

because I am dumping a load of shit on this page

without any intention of explaining, apologizing or side stepping

any of you with weak constitutions, should scroll away now

**

the me, me, me and I, I, I whiners that would never bat an eye about leaving you in a heap

are begging, no - demanding that they have your full and undivided attention and compassion, 24/7

well, I hope you enjoyed your day in the sun, son

because my patience has followed Elvis out of the building

and I am ready to unleash the storm that has been building, waiting for your parade

**

want to know how I really feel?

tsunami baby, tsunami...

prepare to be blown away

***

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.
