Hope: it goes a long way.

With thoughts hand in hand, it keeps you from straying too far away.

Action: to enter the fray,

And solidify your place here on the world stage.

Here, you've made a home to stay.

War: Mongering as such fools.

Up to your neck in ashes and blood.

Rallying up just to keep your tummy full,

And pride tucked high up in the air.

But does the thoughts of your people, align with yours? Is there even a care?

To start a massacre to reclaim what was once theirs?

But who am I to know? The pangs and shots of bodies slapping the foreign earth.

Pleading eyes, they beg for mercy,

Trampled flesh, forgotten courtesy.

And impending losses, leaving the aftermath all thirsty.

Sounds maddening.

Haggard laughs.

No mercy.
