Author's Note: My writing group rhymes every 8th of the month, we do. This is fun and brings us to February when we do a poem (or more) a day. Please join us and make this your rhyming day too! Make it a great Thursday!

Written yesterday morning as a reminder by Carol Verant Arola:
In less then 24 hours the fun will begin.
Get those rhyming gears going, there’s no reason not to join in.
It’s been brought to your attention that tomorrow’s the day.
Get outta bed early and start rhyming away.
You know you’ll have fun, just go with the flow.
Keep those rhymes flowing and smile as you go
because smiles and rhymes are good seeds to sow.

Then sometime later in the day, by me:
Tomorrow is the 8th
Today is the 7th
Now we know
Time to rhyme
Join in people
It is time
Look through the peephole
To write a whole
Lot of good stuff
Little or a lot will be enough

This early morning by me:
Rhyming takes timing
to get it right
We rhyme today
a perfect day
to rhyme
It is time
So, wake up
grab a cup
coffee or tea
is okay with me
Sit down
turn around
and type
Make it ripe
and juicy
not like this
better than his
or hers
It is yours
Make it pop
take it to the top
no need to stop
well, maybe it is time to crop
this one
I'm done!
