Won't you
Drop a hand
For those you know
Life didn't go as planned
Nobody survives this life
Everyone goes out the same
The important part to remember
We all played the same rigged game
So won't you throw out a helping hand
When someone you know is going down
It takes so little to toss them a lifeline
It might be as simple as erasing the frown
Throw them a smile to brighten their day
And remember that everyone stumbles sometime
People can trip and fall as they go along the way
But we need to stop and remember, they commited no crime
Won't you remember what it is like to feel lost and alone
And become someone who uplifted someone today
There's an ease that comes over as you throw them a bone
And realize that they're already faced the price they have to pay
Remember that, and when it's your turn you'll see it all return
For the energy you put into the world from the top
It's something that other people can learn
And the universe won't let it stop
So won't you do something
A small thing that's all
Do something to be
A solution before you fall
