The inability to cease one's thoughts successfully for a prolonged period of time to achieve actual calm and therefore be able to drift into a peaceful slumber.

The constant, gnawing urge to get up and walk aimlessly in random directions until one has reached a destination that can not be named, described, or found on any map.

The never-ending, meandering, wistful, philosophic, and prophetic reasoning mechanism with the flight pattern of a bumblebee.

The overwhelming crescendo of symphonies colliding in a melodic uproar of unstable and undefined emotions akin to tranquility but never quite hitting the mark.

The driving force behind the adamant need to record and analyze every flicker of movement and sound within one's proximity while remaining focused on one's own trajectory of processing thought.
Restlessness.
Wanting something that one can not have. Craving something one can not taste. Needing something one can not touch. Desiring something one can not hold. Feeling something one can not kill. Loving something one can not hide.
