Restless

Basically,

I'm just standing here-

A puddle of my own human thoughts

A plain-jane nobody;

I fade out through nights.

I dance alone in my curdled youth

To no-nothing tunes.

I leave my heart-

Just carrion to feed lovers in the dark.

I play with crows,

My only friends-

Their pecks are kisses on the cheek

I hold feelings in big brown paper bags

And drink emotions like tears-

They make me weak.

I sit unaccompanied in the shadows-

Restless so I'm wide awake-

With no need for any elation,

You killed what use to make me spark.
