so it was that five came to stand

trapped together by lights’ command

so unalike they were, yet caught the same

hostage to foot, and iron, and rain

the Pierced Maiden?

she smiled

at the piercings left by

love's arrow

pierced her a million times in

every place

was a cold-steel opportunity

for love

should not inspire shame

and the pain

is just another pleasure

she feels

very distant to me

the Lady Judge?

she judged

the Pierced Maiden

and i

want to judge because

she was

religious because

an execution

was elegantly framed by

her tits

were in the clutches of

a push-up bra

is what i am wearing too

the Porcelain Doll?

she stood

stiffly and displayed

her hair

was black, neat, and

well arranged

rich clothing clad

her body

was willowy and straight

but still

what caused the bruise

i wonder

if i could be like her

the Shaman Priest?

he smoked

the herbs and saw

blurred visions

were no impediment to

his sight

saw through space

and time

had no meaning

to him

everything was beautiful

even i

wonder what that's like

the God of Greece?

he blushed

and stammered at

every eve

he worshipped at

his obelisk

was a staff of

smooth marble

drew his longing eyes

like captives

were the doll, and judge, and maid

and i

wonder why not me

but one near escaped my gaze

hid by darkness, shadows, haze.

but caught in shining surface stood

stuffed with straw and carved of wood

the puppet girl

she watched

with lidless eyes

to see

her strings were being pulled

by me

was crafted every action,

feeling felt

like something never felt before

the why

was shatter carved her

crosses paired

was my longing

resting red amber green

now you've heard all I've seen

all that will be all that's been

yet i am a mirror, as they are to me

something is reflected; what do they see?
