Restarting

-*-

The river moved my wafting bones

after releasing my grip on Life.

No cries or sorrows hitting my loved ones

but rather smiles from deeply inside.

-*-

They understand that change is a fact;

molding your path as it see better fits.

Waiting may work while you think how to act,

but once you feel ready, a goodbye can't sits.

-*-*-

The river took me until I reached its mouth;

channels behind, tributaries and source.

The estuary is a gift, with lands by a scouth

waiting for plans to go wander its course.

-*-*-

It is now in my side to dismiss all my doubts;

It is now in my time to show up and embrace.

The window is open, and I can see the layouts

awaiting the steps, while I'm choosing my pace.

-*-*-*-

I know I did good, choosing change over stale;

although I still think a lot on what's coming next.

No rush, even though sustenance is now pale

but there is plenty of time ahead of me and my flex.

-*-*-*-

Now, I just need to enjoy what I did with my boxes

They all have a new place, a new roof and fresh clouds.

No more stare through my window. I'll follow those voices

that have been calling my name, since the first time we bound.
