In the depths of shadows, where pain resides,
a soul bears scars and silence hides.
Whispers linger through the echoes of a haunting night,
a survivor's fight.
Unseen battles leave scars unseen,
shattered trust and a soul unclean.
Yet, within the darkness, a resilient flame,
a survivor's spirit not defined by shame.
In the quiet moments, a heart's lament,
struggling with the weight of relentless torment.
Yet strength emerges, like a phoenix rise,
defying shadows, reclaiming skies.
No judgement in the eyes that weep,
a healing journey, slow and deep.
For in the solidarity of empathetic embrace,
survivors find a gentle space.
May empathy replace the silent void,
in understanding hearts, strength deployed.
For in the poetry of healing, courage unfurls,
a testament to the strength of survivor pearls.

No one knew how the event really started. Between a few beverages at the bar, maybe? Notes passed carefully on the street? Or, perhaps a secret meetup at early hours of the day?
