A Welcome Mat

A haphazard orchestrated affair

A green sky, that welcome thrill of foreboding

Before a storm

The anticipation, dread, and safety

A climax of wind, rain, and

The dry security of four walls

By Angela Compagnone on Unsplash

Thunder that reverberates

Harmlessly

Through the walls

Lightning

Stars

Sunbeams

Mocha lattes

Kittens

A dressed doll

And a clothesline

It is pies on the holidays

And everyday knights watching tv

By Glenn Carstens-Peters on Unsplash

A simple lack for need

No self expression to much

No purpose unheard

No amount of affection

to much

no out of bounds

no hungry judge

By Natasha Ivanchikhina on Unsplash

My simplicity thrills my complexity

As the hot water steams the bath

The candles cast glow

in a round about flickering

Dance

By Sixteen Miles Out on Unsplash

Dreams are realized

Love is freedom'

And strongly kept

Desires are wanton

lusts are little

as nights are big

By Samuel Branch on Unsplash

vast expanses

starry galaxies

and the welcomed complacency

of a life that is fully lived

By Andy Holmes on Unsplash

This is home to me.
