Reminders

A watch's tale

A pocket watch of gold,

A relic of the past,

A symbol of the age,

A reminder of the past.

Adventures secret and untold

The intricate details of its design,

A marvel of craftsmanship and skill,

The gold and silver hues so divine,

A timeless beauty that stands still.

An object so small and so benign

A relic of the days,

When life was simpler still,

A time of elegance,

A time of grace and skill.

When a speakeasy was a thrill

The hands of time move ever forward,

But this watch will never change,

It will always remain the same,

A reminder of the past, a timeless exchange.

A watch bearing a family name

A time of grandeur,

When life was slow and sweet,

A time of joy and laughter,

A time of peace and rest.

A family tree’s lost chapter

A watch of beauty,

A watch of love and laughter,

A watch of wonder and smile,

A watch of love and laughter,

A watch of Victorian style.
