We are asked to remember.
War is not a thing to remember, it is a thing to realise.
Look around you, Men and Women walk amongst us that risked it all.
Sacrifice
One day in one month to remember
them all.
Is it over that we need reminded to remember?
Are not our loved ones still saying Goodbye,
Not forced
But choosing to serve.
Are not guns still spitting bullets
Bullets piercing bodies
Bodies littering lands.
Are not soldiers still fighting for freedom
Dying so that we might live.
Is it over that we need reminded to remember?
