That time you feel broken sitting in your room crying.
It's all a token only no one sees you're trying.
Everyone thinks you're just faking because you smile or do your best to seem happy.
But it all hurts you're shaking, you can't get the image off your mind, of her in that coffin.
Lifeless.
It's almost like you're blind to all else.
All is hopeless.
It doesn't let you sleep.
You wake up at night unable to go into the deep slumber you so desperately need.
Because every sound is a fright, you tell yourself 'it will all be okay' and 'you will get better'.
They're all lies.
You want to stay in this room alone,
and remember the happy times.
The smiles and laughs are what get you through.
It seems like everyone extends their hands,
but pull them away as soon as you grab on.
So you sit there alone in your room.
Crying because you have nothing better to do.
No one sees the pain.
No one sees the suffering.
What they see is their reflections of fake smiles and forced laughs.
