Remember?

A Poem of Reflection

By $@m 》》♡Published 9 years ago • 1 min read

Call me a disgrace, I've forgotten her face. The way she used to smell, it'd put me in a spell. She used to tie my shoes, 'n' now I've got the blues. It's been so long since she's been gone, I'm just a little fawn, not ready to move on. She'd wish us well, and kiss us when we fell. She kept me and then left me. I loved her. I called her mom... Momma I love you, say you love me too. Momma I need you! Hold my hand and help me stand. Together forever, don't you remember? That's what you said when you tucked us into bed...
