Relaxing

-*-

I had been told so many times, and still go against the flow:

you don't have to wait until it's over. You can sit and just enjoy.

The night is fresh, the wind is calm, the sounds envelop me with peace;

I like the spot; I come quite often. I can always find peace here.

-*-

I had been told so many times, and still cannot believe

how a new start resets your mood and rebuilds your self esteem.

Yes, of course, there are some moments of big doubts and good old fears.

You have to breathe and maybe think, that they will soon be out of here.

-*-

Strong connections halt the tremors and hold up your head to rest

gives you shelter and a bench so your mind can find what's best.

There will be issues, that's for sure, but they will always fade away

once you see how just by parsing, a cleared path gets on display.

-*-

Go for a walk, not far from home, but just far enough to be alone;

follow the river, get to that spot where you may find who love you the most.

Smile all the way, keep up with the trees: they may be crooning a song for you.

I was scared with doubts in my mind.

I found my river.

You will find yours too.
