refusing to hide

the Tuatha de Danaan

By susan marie loehePublished 6 years ago 1 min read

held back no longer

they've entered through the harmonies

occurring across the ladders of time

their color bleeds spectrum watercolor into leaf vein

and the twilit expanses are a deeper blue

this year the new arrivals to the fall ritual

raised on magicks

are coming in pro with a stomp

the Druid smile speaks dragon's teeth

that silent deepening gaze

the fire shoots sparking skyland starriness

a brightly booted foot is stepping in

from behind the curtain of trees

a measure of mountain blows in the winds

there is some daark winter in her gaze

next spring sighs itself to sleep happily

summer smiling in the sweep of snowy clouds

surreal poetry
