Was I promised tomorrow

when it was yesterday?

No.

Then how is it still here,

how is it today,

I can see crystal clear?

Am I living in the present?

Yes.

Then what else will be gifted?

How much longer before I'm lifted?

And to these concerns,

do I have any responses?

Yes, it seems I have a few.

But I need more,

to give myself a clue.

What am I waiting for?

Who is waiting for me?

And does anyone ever feel free

with answers to all their questions?

I hang on

at mere possibility.
