Speak of stories untold
The depth of emotions
In a single glance behold
Eyes that have seen
Both joy and sorrow
Lines etched on the face
Tell of a life lived thorough
Reflections in the mirror
Capture every tear shed
Every smile shared
Every dream chased
In the stillness of the room
Whispers of the past arise
Memories come flooding back
In the mirror's silent cries
The mirror cannot lie
It reflects the truth within
Every flaw and imperfection
Highlighted in its grim
But beauty lies not
In the flawless facade
But in the scars
That tell of battles fought
Reflections in the mirror
Reveal the innermost thoughts
The fears, the hopes
The love that never fades
As we stand before the mirror
Looking into our own eyes
We see ourselves reflected
In all our lows and highs
And in that reflection
We find acceptance
Of who we are
And where we've been
So let the mirror speak
Of the journey we've taken
And may we find peace

I want to grow and I’m going to grow. I’m not going to be this version of myself anymore and you won’t know who I become. You won’t talk to her, or be by her side as she goes through life— you won’t know her. Her heart won’t even remember the small moments that’ve clung to it for so long.
