In the dance of droplets, reflections arise,
Echoes of skies weeping silently.
Each raindrop is a prism, holding secrets of light,
Painting the world in shades of gray and silver.
Amidst the pitter-patter, a symphony plays,
Nature’s gentle heartbeat, cleansing the earth.
Mirrored in puddles, the heavens bend low,
Whispering tales of forgotten dreams.
Through misted windows, I gaze and ponder,
Life’s fleeting moments, washed clean and anew.
In each raindrop, a story unfolds,
A tale of beginnings, of endings, untold.
So I stand amidst this gentle storm,
Embracing the melody of rain’s soft lament.
In its rhythm, finding solace and grace,
Reflections in rain, a moment’s embrace.

I want to grow
I want to grow and I’m going to grow. I’m not going to be this version of myself anymore and you won’t know who I become. You won’t talk to her, or be by her side as she goes through life— you won’t know her. Her heart won’t even remember the small moments that’ve clung to it for so long. I’ll watch her embrace a new life that has nothing to do with you, and there won’t be a space waiting like there has been for far too long.
