In this colorful world, let us explore,
The multiple depths of addiction's core.
What if we shed judgment, and open our eyes,
To see addiction's essence, through a different guise?
Like a wind that blows through the leaves of a tree,
What if addiction is meant to flow through and be free?
To be observed, not condemned, in its intensity,
A force to reckon with, as much as a possibility.
What if addiction, instead of a driver to submit,
Can be harnessed as a tool, to ignite one’s spirit?
A means to reset, to find the path back to joy,
If used with intention, it can help us deploy.
For addiction, like a wave, may crash upon one’s shore,
But what if it's a part of the evolution, to expand and explore?
A catalyst for growth, a consistency to rise above,
To rediscover one’s strengths, to embrace self-love.
Rather than fearing addiction's powerful sway,
What if one learns from its mastery to shape forward the way.
To navigate the currents, with wisdom and grace,
And find within the layers, a life force sacred space.
For addiction, when understood in a different light,
Can be a teacher, guiding us through the night.
A reminder of true strength, a resilience to simply be,
A fuel for transformation, a tool to feel free.
Just what if addiction appears for an open mind
To simply embrace, observe and help one find
A path back to joy, a life lived even better,
If the energy is re-centered, and the Driver steers through, unfettered.
