Red Sock Monster
Dream of the monster and the red sock
Little girl running fast
With her nightgown flowing so vast
Little girl running fast behind her family
They sprint ahead of her with speed uncanny
Little girl running fast falls far behind
Her family disappears like sight to the blind
Little girl running fast cries out to them
They don't come back for her, what a rush they're in
Little girl running fast is now running alone
But she soon realizes she is running from the unknown
Little girl running fast turns around to see
A big scary monster is running free
Little girl running fast trips, falls and down she goes
The monster comes closer to eat her in one blow
Little girl sits and cries for he
A red sock covers her eyes, her sight retreated
Little girl awakes in her bed
No more running and no sock on her head
