Have you ever seen red tears?
An endlessly flowing, weeping, running River Styx
Created by my own hands,
Continuation caused by countless crevices
In the minding of its source,
And a coarse making of its own bed
Which I now lie in, treading torrential currents,
Swearing blood oaths and troths
Upon my waters.
They think I am the pillar, the answer to their woes,
And woes I do have and woes I do take
But penance, I must also ask.
Not from you,
Me.
Slinking through skin as the clean slate
Runs thin and surrenders the rosy river to Styx
As a lamb to the gods.
As I sink further into the blue depths,
Blue depths slowly polluted by leaking red,
Leaking red polluting my River Styx.
