Blood red, the liquid pulsating humanities body,
whisper quiet in a long journey.
Red full of life, operating an ancient system.
Hatred, how can it function in the blood.
I see only red, red of our sisters, brothers of past
and of the future.
Transparent liquid gushing along cheek skin,
yet continued bloodshed.
Red red red, dangerous red. Stop, be aware
for we all are one.
No more, please slide into a beautiful day
of hope and yellow glow.
Within reach, to love and desperate for accessibility.
All can I be is red. Not for passion, not for danger,
for unity in our brief days of uncertainty.
Alas, bring on the golden yellow of summer, rest in my
blood of fellow souls, then, here and beyond.
I will not retreat into the black, black of tragedy.
For what is this life gift gain, if not for red that binds us.
All my sorrows need not apply.
Silence in my red.
Glorious for soon to be yellow days.
