Red Horizon

The ghost that Haunts who can she be?

Red Horizon

Beneath the crimson, setting sun,

A shadowed tale has just begun.

Her eyes, aflame, reflect the night,

A soul adrift, bereft of light.

The trees, like claws, reach for the skies,

Their whispers mourn her silent cries.

The water still, a mirrored haze,

Holds secrets lost in distant days.

Once she danced where life was green,

mountains guard what might have been.

No joyous end, no spark remains,

Just echoes bound by sorrow’s chains.

Her face, a ghost in nature’s frame,

A fleeting wisp, without a name.

Till she returns on a foggy night,

So many people she has given a fright.

She appears in fog or starry skies,

A phantom bound, where silence lies.
