Red flags

he has so many red flags, i could write a list

i am constantly chasing after something that does not exist

the effort he puts in is only a fragment

unlike me, he lacks the emotional attachment

he gives me all of his attention

but bearing in mind it is for the wrong intention

as night comes so does he

the only place that he should be

he tells me exactly what i want to hear

i fall for it because he makes it seem so sincere

he gets what he wants and then i do not see him for another week

i cannot help but wonder in all of that time where he chose to sleep

he told me that he likes to be shared

i hate the thought of being compared

just wishing that we could cross that line

but for now, one night only he is mine

and it feels like such a sin

to keep letting him back in
