Red Bricks and Autumn Trees

That's all that's left of the last day

Red bricks and Autumn trees stored in my last memory

As I walked away, I wanted to ask if you would remember me

Sad brown eyes with messages to convey

That’s all that I remember of our last day

Unspoken words linger in the air

Things we never said when there

We tried our best, but we couldn’t stay

That’s all that I remember of our last day

Hands that don’t meet and eyes that don’t touch

I never imagined that I could miss you this much

In the lake of October rain, we both drift away

That’s all that I remember of our last day

Time hasn’t changed the river of our admire

I always imagined these things would expire

We left without bodies, but our hearts remained

Tangled feelings, lost in a loop, stay unexplained

Emotions without a voice, without a say

That’s all that’s left of our last day
