I couldn't find my way
As my brown fur blended
With the wood of the trunks.
Snow all around
Blurring my eyes.
No answers for my question
In the passivity, so...
I snapped.
In my rage,
Raw,
I tore feathers
From the clouds
With jaws
And teeth,
Decisively.
They drifted at first,
Did those feathers,
Confused
Like snowflakes pretending
They are okay
Until
They know themselves as violated.
Jagged.
Wounded beyond
Whatever the ethers of goodness
In the dream state
Might create.
AHHHH...
The crimson droplets
Marked the path
Far better
Than might virtues.
When I awoke
I wondered.
Had I only been dreaming?
Or as a wolf
Howling for red meat
Had I come to a greater
Awareness
About surviving
Life.
