Imperfect dips into the well of recreation never leave me sprained or drained, it’s a recurring baptism

cleanse, cleanse the tension from anxious flesh

rinse off the trepidation with an auburn brush.

A glass of Merlot or two might lead the night astray or on a rush

I don’t deny creature comforts.

Rather, I glide with prudence

treating the moment as both irreplaceable and inescapably...short

So we must maximize the senses: what you see, hear, taste, smell, feel, perceive, long for

take note, take note

be here, be here

depart later, later, later.
