Recouping YOURSELF

I wish they could understand, but I know they won't

You Won't

You have someone by your side, someone telling you to stop & take a break.

I had that once,

someone who could make it all better, someone carrying the load beside me.

I know how you feel, Yes I Know, because I once had that. But You won't know what I feel

You won't know what it feels like to be on your own, fighting it alone, No one to tell you to "stop, rest, sit back now - I'll fight now, you just Recoup"

No one to say, " well done! You've fought hard and long, now I'll take over because I'm by your side, you're not alone- We've got this"

You have someone carrying life with you since you were born, never letting you wear the burdens alone.

I know how you feel because I felt that too. But that was a long time ago and I have lost Her along with those feelings. The one who made it better...

Now there's no one to say to me : " Rest, sit back -> RECOUP"
