Real Richness

An English-Spanish bilingual poem

It’s very tristeza —

the nueva generación

is in the grip of tentaciones,

talking only materialismo.

They chase dinero,

want propiedad,

prioritize trabajos,

crave casa, coche,

and focus on apariencia.

They avoid talking about salud.

They have no idea about inflamación —

how it causes enfermedades,

how hormonas are crying for help,

Infertilidad is breaking dreams.

Can they be sabios

and understand real riqueza?

Translations:

It’s deeply saddening —

the new generation is caught in the grip of temptations,

speaking only the language of materialism.

They chase money,

desire property,

prioritize careers,

crave houses and cars,

and focus on outward appearance.

But they rarely talk about health.

They have no idea how inflammation quietly damages the body,

how hormones are crying out for balance,

how infertility is quietly breaking dreams.

Can they become wise enough

to understand what true wealth really means?
